Annual Budgets

Eligibility for Funding

To receive funding, organizations and their programs must be primarily student-determined, student-directed, membership and participation should reasonably enable any interested student to compete and/or join and must be provide a valuable service to the Northeastern undergraduate community.

Student Groups must also meet also meet the following criteria: 

Funding Process






Apply for the Student Activities Fee (SAF) funding through your organization's Engage finance tool.

Be sure to read the rules as defined in the SAF Manual located under the Policies tab. 


Submit your budget request by the deadline. Wait for an email from the Finance Board on next steps. 


For supplemental budgets each organization will meet briefly with your organization for 10 minutes to discuss the budget request. This step is skipped for club apply for annual budgets.  


Your organization will be notified of the decision approximately one week after your presentation/application review.
